Born as a nomad in the area of Timbuktu, Abdoulaye started his career as a local guide at the age of 15. A big passion to explore and discover new places made him start traveling to other parts of Mali where he learned about the diverse country's tradition and history. Very soon he started exploring the Mauritanian desert and charming villages of Niger and Burkina Faso, now with many trips behind him. He spent a year in Ghana perfecting his english language skills and recently drove all the waz to Senegal to finally swim in the ocean on the beautiful beaches around Dakar.

After working as a freelancer for many travel agencies for more than 15 years, in 2019 he decided to take on a new challenge: Amassakoul tours!
